I know a number of you have had a lot of questions regarding how I am storing my project life cards. Instead of writing out a long post I made a little video that hopefully will answer some questions and let you see what’s working for me right now.
Here is a little video on how I am organizing my project life and pocket style journaling and filler cards. I am using the medium Close To My Heart organizers which you can see by going to my website HERE <—- that will take you right to the organizers.
The dividers that I had made for my organization were
Pink

Loved your ideas, thanks for the video. I have a question though–I’m struggling with the double-sided nature of the PL 3×4 cards. One side of the card can be so different from the other side–when you were sorting by color, how did you decide what color/side to use?
The environmentalist in me loves the two sided 3×4 PL cards because we’re not wasting the backside of the cards, but the fact that each side is so diverse in color and style is driving me crazy. Would love to hear your thoughts on this…thank you! Carol
Hi Carol! good question. So what I did was that most of the double sided cards I had multiples of so I sorted one side front facing and took some of the other cards and flipped them and sorted them where they should go. Make sense? I should of shown that in the video. So for example a becky higgins core kit has roughly 10 cards that are the same. I would sort 5 of them with side A color and 5 of them with side B color. Hope this helps!

How do you categorize the double sided cards?!
Never mind I read the earlier posts haha. But the problem is if you don’t have a double of the card…
True. I almost always have a double or if I don’t I have a side I prefer. There are a few cards that I LOVE both sides and I am not sure what I will use so those go in my tab marked “special cards”. Hope this helps!

Hi Heather 🙂 the small organizer (the one I use for my washi tape) is currently out of stock but it is not discontinued. Check back in a couple of weeks and we should have more. The medium organizer is what I used for the cards and that (along with the large) is in stock now 🙂

OMG, I have a slight obsession with project life cards and how I was storing them was out of control…I came upon you video and it changed me life…lol, really an awesome way you store them. I just ordered the med and large container through your website. I am so excited! I am storing my washi tape which is as big as your collection in another tote, but I may change my mind so they all match. I will probably be buying more from you since I will need a few more med and large totes to store all my core kits, just ordered the two so I wouldn’t overwhelm myself! I’m sure I’m too late but I read a post about PL organization on the go and you could enter to win one of the boxes filled with goodies. All you had to do was follow your blog and write a comment with favorite colors for a chance – my fave colors are purple and green if still running

I’m new to cricut and silhouette can u use the files with cricut too? How much are containers?
I am just now coming across this and am very interested in purchasing this storage/organization solution. Right now I have stuff all over the place and need to get it organized before moving in February. Are you still a consultant? Sorry if I missed this but…do the plastic dividers come with the organizer? Are there enough to divide it for storing the smaller PL cards? Thanks!
Hi Nicole! Yes, the dividers come with the organizer. There is 8 sections and you can remove dividers to put in 4×6 cards as well. In one medium case you can fit 6 full Becky Higgins Core Kits. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. Have a great day!!!
OMG! I’ve been looking and searching storage solutions and this is perfect! I too live in a dusty area so prefer all my products be in closed storage😃
Are the large organizers out of stock or discontinued?!
Looks like they are just out of stock at the moment. I would check back in a week or so. They never are back-ordered for long 🙂
