Hi Crafty Friends
I am back today with two more of our design team members close ups to share 🙂
Alicia Falu
Alicia’s Blog can be found HERE.
Hello! My name is Alicia Hill from Puerto Rico, but I live in Georgia, my second home, I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of TheCrafty Pickle team! I love paper, design, make boxes, scrapbooking, cardmakimg, pastel colors, did I say card making?? LOL!!, , flowers, reading, calligraphy, but most of all my husband, son and cats and the wonderful life we have together, we are very blessed I’ve been scrapbooking/cards making since I was a teenager and absolutely love how it makes me feel! My style – bright and clean (elegant) sometime shabby chic
And why not get some mixed media on it!
Catherine Martin
Cathy’s Blog can be found HERE
My name is Cathy and I have been scrapping since 2009, after my son was born. I am a graphic designer and illustrator by trade, though I am currently working as a floral designer. I absolutely love crafting in every form and I honestly don’t know what I would do if I wasn’t creating! I love using new and different embellishments in my scrapbooking and am always eager to expand my scrappy knowledge. For me my scrapbook pages are ways to preserve my family memories, but they are also little mini works of art, and I use my scrapbooking to express myself artistically.
I can’t wait to see what creative things these two have in store for us! See you back tomorrow for two more close ups!
Happy Crafting
Hi Crafty Friends,
For the rest of this week we are introducing you to our new design team. I am so excited to share their talent with you all, today is about learning a bit more about them!
Carrie Bryant
Carrie’s Blog can be found HERE
My name is Carrie Bryant I have been a traditional scrapbooker for around 20 years. I love all things handmade. I especially like stamping and creating my own greeting and pocket cards. I am blessed to be a stay at home wife and mother. I have been married 23 years and have two teenagers. I also have three dogs. I live in sunny Southern California.
I am a creative scrapper, I love layering and adding a bit of embellishment to all my layouts, I rarely ever just slide a photo into the pocket. I am also blessed to
have my own scrapbook studio. I love my space, it’s very roomy. This does not however keep me from creating a huge mess. LOL. But being creative is messy and I am very creative.
Treasa Cimorose
Treasa’s Blog can be found HERE
My name is Treasa Cimorose. I am from Maryland. I’ve been scrapping for over 10 years. I have done traditional , digital and hybrid scrapbooking. I also have been doing Project Life since 2013. i am married to my high school sweetie and we have 2 adult children and one amazing energetic 6 yr old granddaughter. I love using my Silhouette Cameo for print and cuts, die cuts and creating my own cards.
I am a moderator/Design Team member at Project Life Card Swap group on Facebook and have had the pleasure to work with TCP’s amazing flair before. I create challenges and sketches for the group as well.
Having worked with both Carrie and Treasa before I am so excited to have both talented ladies on the TCP team! See you all tomorrow for more introductions!
Happy Crafting,
Happy Halloween Crafty Friends!
Today, design team member Carrie Bryant is sharing this cute little “Insta” Chipboard album she created for Halloween.
Here is how she did it!
First off, I cut down some unfinished chipboard to 4×4 and covered each page with some cute MME Halloween papers I had in my stash.
I love this cute Spider Web Flair from The Crafty Pickle
Each page is embellished and has room for a small photo or journal spot.
This may be my favorite page, I created a shaker box and fished it off with another adorable TCP flair
On this page I added a 3×4 PL card I created for a Halloween Swap.
This is a really easy way to preserve the memories from your Halloween fun.
This is that back of my album. I used Jump rings to bind my album and added fun ribbons to finish it off.
Thanks so much Carrie, for sharing your adorable project!
