Project Life with Monika

Hi Crafty Friends!

Have you all started your Project life albums for 2015? I still have the holidays to finish up before I dive into a new album. Designer, Mona, is finishing up her 2014 with this awesome page she has to share today. Take a look!

I’m still big fan of The Crafty Pickle Badges. I love to use them in my PL pages. I made week47 using some of them. I love especially the glitter one, with Happy Birthday words. I also used speach buble and others ( I’m listing them at the end of my post).
Here is my PL page. TFL!

Flairs I used:

– november

– speech bubble

Thanks so much for sharing today, Mona. I love your page and your little boy is just adorable!

Snow…. in California?

Hi Crafty Friends!

Happy New Year! I hope the holidays treated you well and that you’re off to a great 2015! Today, designer Carrie has a great first layout of 2015 showing her home in california covered in snow! It doesn’t happen often so this was a nice surprise! Check it out!

Happy New Year.  I can hardly believe it’s 2015.

Today I am sharing my first winter layout. This page will actually be at the end of my 2014 family album.  We had a rare snow fall where I live in Murrieta California.  It has not snowed here in ten years, and even then it was just a dusting.  We actually got about a foot of snow that lasted several days.

For this page I used a ton of beautiful shiny sequins from TheCraftyPicklethey came in the Winter Mix pack.    Can I just tell you that I am a bit obsessed with sequins right now. They are such an easy embellishment and very reasonably priced.  Easy to apply with a bit of liquid glue or mini glue dots.

Here is a closer look at some cards I created by embossing some snowflakes onto vellum and then adding a bit of shimmer watercolors.  I of course added some sequins to embellish these cards too.

When you order flair from Taniesa your flair is packaged with sequins/confetti in a glassine bag.

Its like a little party when you open the cute little package. I use these sequins all the time, they are the perfect accent to any project.

This glitter flair is perfect on my pages, adds that special touch I like to set the feeling I want to document.
Of course I had to add one of my new blue color pop flairs to this card. It matches my sequins too.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Happy Scrappin in the New Year

Carrie

Thanks Carrie! I LOVE your layout and I am a wee bit Jealous of your snow (we didn’t get any snow in my part of California).

A big thank you to all of my readers. You have made my journey with my blog and the growth of my business(s) so fun and so worthwhile for me. I appreciate each and every one of you!

Happy Crafting!

Sketches and Sequins with Stephanie!

Hi Everyone!

Ever get in a creative slump? Designer, Stephanie, took a sketch and made it her own with accents of TheCraftyPickle sequins and some flair. Check it out!

Hey y’all! I hope this day is treating you well! We are fighting off colds around here & trying to get healthy for the New Year!

I have a post to share today featuring flair & sequins from The Crafty Pickle. I made a layout using this sketch from Stuck?! Sketches:

Here is my page:

I started by stamping the circles on my cardstock. I then added strips of paper from my stash. I love, love, love using up scraps!!
The black & white striped paper is from Glitz & the multi-colored snowflake paper is from Imaginisce. The stars are from Pink Paislee & the journal card is from Pretty Little Studio.
Here is a closer look at the red & white flair button from TCP. I love how festive it is! I also love how well it matches the paper here from Elle’s Studio. You can get a good look at the Christmas sequins mix here too.
The crown is from Um Wow Studios & I misted it red then added some coarse glitter.
This arrow flair button is glittery & the perfect accent to my Christmas page!
There’s more of the yummy Christmas sequins & the ornament die cut is from Pink Paislee. My alphas are from Fancy Pants.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a crafty day!
~Stephanie
Thanks Stephanie! I LOVE your layout!!!

Sweet Treat!

Hey Crafty Friends!
Designer, Cathy, is up with an adorable holiday layout! Check it out
Hey everyone it’s Cathy here with another post for The Crafty Pickle. I wanted to use some of the wonderful December/Christmas flair badges and sequins and I thought what better way to use the lovely candy striped badges then to showcase them on a layout about my daughter getting candy canes stuck in her hair. I apologize that the photos aren’t at their normal quality, I ended up having to take them with my phone instead of my usual Canon camera.
I adore how she used the flair and sequins, all the clusters and layering are perfect.
Thanks Cathy!
I hope you all have a very Merry week!!!

Elf Mini Album with Kristin

Hi again crafty friends!
Today designer, Kristin, is showing off her elf on the shelf mini album and it is so adorable! Take a look!
So so so in love with this flat flair From The Crafty Pickle …this is some of the different flair I am going to be using in my “Elf on a Shelf” album!!!

For documenting in my album I will be using the Whimsical December “Real” glitter flair HERE for the different days of the week of the photos… but first I wanted to add a see through page with some fun embellishments along the side ..I punched some snow flakes from my leftover Pathfinders Collection from CTMH, added some Christmas Holiday Sequins from the etsy shop, and for sure the personalized Elf button flair to the front pocket!!!

Then on the first page I used the CTMH “Heartstrings” paper pack paper, mini calendar stamp, whimsical december glitter flair, and the star stamp from artiste set.

On the third page I made a little pocket with the clear envelope from the stamp set and added Christmas Holiday sequins and a deer, Then on the top I added on of my “Elf on the shelf” personalized flair …so cute!!!
I also added to this page the Red pattern color pop flair and some more of the wonderful sequins!!

Thanks for looking at my album!!!

Is that not too cute! Great job Kristin. Thanks so much for sharing with us!

Shake it up!

Hi Crafty Friends!!

Shaker cards are so hot right now, I love how fun they are to make and to give. Designer, Joanne, is sharing one of her shaker creations today using the Close To My Heart Artbooking Cricut Collection and some moonshine sequins (That gets packed free with all flair orders from TCP Etsy shop). Take a look at her beautiful card!

Hi! Today I am sharing a cool shaker card. But before I get started, have you check out the new and fabulous products in the TCP Etsy shop? If not, PLEASE stop by, there’s some really great stuff!

I recently purchased the CTMH Artbooking Cricut Collection and let me tell you, I absolutely LOVE this cartridge! It’s geared towards making mini-albums and layouts easier and faster, but you could totally use this awesome cartridge in so many ways.

So here is what I made…

I used some AC red foil specialty paper and cut an image that was meant for a mini-album page (Artbooking Handbook pg. 56) and made it into a shaker card! I used my gypsy to hide the ring holes (you could also use Cricut Craft Room) and sized it to where it would be a bit smaller than a standard A2 card. I took the “Merry Christmas” cut (from pg. 75) and used it as my sentiment for the front of my card.

As for my awesome sequins… did you know that when you place an order with TCP Etsy shop, it will come packaged with some fun sequins and what can you make with that awesome sequins you ask… A SHAKER CARD!!!

I hope you are leaving feeling inspired! It was super fun taking an image that was meant for something else and making it work in a whole new way.

Hope you enjoyed this card and as always, thanks for stopping by!

Supplies used:
Moonshine sequins (Included with Flair orders from TCP Etsy Shop)
Thank you so much for sharing, Joann. Such a beautiful card!
