Shake it off with Treasa

Happy Sunday everyone!

Treasa has a special Sunday post for you all. Check out the awesome handmade project life cards she made for a swap she is in.

I totally love this catchy song from Taylor Swift ,so much in fact that I created a PL card using it as my inspiration. I created the card in my Silhouette software then I printed it out and used the print and cut feature to cut the card out for me. I then backed it with some black card stock and added the music note flair from The Crafty Pickle as a final touch. I love how it gives it some bling with the silver glitter.

So remember to keep on cruising and don’t stop grooving….

Thanks Treasa, I think this is one of my favorite cards you have made yet!

Happy 8th Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends!

Today designer, Stephanie is showing a birthday card she made for her son. Take a look!

Hey y’all! Hope your Thursday is going well. We had some ice & schools were closed yesterday so I am playing catch-up today!
Tomorrow is Ty’s 8th birthday so I made him a card. I wanted to keep it somewhat simple since he is a boy & doesn’t appreciate frills!

I started with the slate blue cardstock & added the plaid paper on top. This was in my scraps box from long ago!

I used the “Happy Birthday” flair from The Crafty Pickle. It is from their Birthday button flair set. The set includes 4 flat-backed buttons that are perfect for birthday crafting!

The sequins on my card is also from The Crafty Pickle. It is the winter sequins mix. I just love the little snowflakes! The cardstock snowflake was punched with my Marvy punch.
Taniesa has a bunch of new flair & sequins in the shop! Be sure to stop by & stock up!! These cold, snowy winter days are the perfect time to craft!

Take care,
~Stephanie

Thanks Stephanie! I always have a hard time with those masculine cards, this is great!

Today we have an adorable layout from designer, Cathy Martin! She shows how you can take a seasonal flair piece and make it work for everyday embellishing. Take a look!

It’s time for my first layout for the new year for The Crafty Pickle!  Taniesa has been working overtime getting lots of new fun flairs and other items ready for her shop.  I am loving the sequins that she’s offering now!  Be sure to pop on over to her Etsy shop and take a look!

For my layout today I used two flair badges from her Autumn collection.  I love the versatility of these badges, and how cute is that fox!

Hearts Everywhere!

Hi Crafty Friends!
Today, designer, Kristin has a great layout to show you to get you in the valentine/hearts everywhere spirit! Check it out.
Here is some new flair to start off the new year for me and some new paper to play with from Close to my Heart out of the new catalog December 2014- March 2015 Seasonal Expressions 1!!!
This was so much fun to use the “Picture my Life” Hopscotch Scrapbooking Program on a scrapbooking page and layer it up with the “Heartstring” paper pack also from Close to my Heart to use the red and the fun turquoise in the collection …both of these collections looks so wonderful together!!!

Here is my page that I completed:

And then in the close-up you can see that I added Red Color “Pop” Flair , the star from the Artiste stamp set from Close to my Heart, Stuck on you Puffies and fun Winter sequin mix with a little Christmas Holiday Sequins

And then in the other close-up:
I added three different flair from the shop- Red Patterned Color Pop, Arrow Flair and Adoption  …you can go check them out right HERE

Thanks for looking at my work!!!

Thanks Kristin. I love how you take a project life style to this scrapbook page!

Happy Birthday, Mom!

Hi Crafty Friends!

Today designer, Joann is sharing an adorable birthday card she made for her mom. Check it out!

Hi! I’m so happy that you have stopped by!

Today I am sharing a birthday card with you…

As I mentioned in one of my previous post, I recently purchased the CTMH Artbooking Cricut collection and one of the many reasons was the overlay images.  I love stencils and modeling paste and thought that it would be fun to be able to create some of my own stencils and size them to whichever size I wanted.

Here is a look at how the image on page 53 turned out when I took some transparency and cut the image at 5 inches creating my own stencil…

I just placed my stencil on my card base and applied the modeling paste right on top. It was so easy and I was really happy with the results and the best thing is that I can reuse my stencil…woohoo! There are so many great images on this cartridge, I’m telling you, it’s a must have.

I took some watercolor paper and used my cricut and the Artbooking cartridge to cut the circle swirl image from pg 55, the tag from pg 83, and the happy birthday image from pg 86.  I stamped a butterfly image using the CTMH Sweet Moments stamp set on my tag with some white embossing powder. I then used CTMH Inks Lagoon and Cotton Candy, to water-color my images by adding some ink on a clear block and then taking some water and a brush to pick up the color and adding it to my images creating a ombre look.

To finish off my card I added a beautiful flair from the Family Themed Flair. These are so nice and could be used to personalize any card or project for your loved one.

Hope you enjoyed and thanks again for stopping by and as always don’t forget to check out TCP Etsy shop to pick up some awesome flair. There are tons of great new items in the store!

                                                                      Supplies used:
Thanks Joann! I love the texture the modeling paste gives to the card and a great use of flair too!

Project Life with Monika

Hi Crafty Friends!

I’m still big fan of The Crafty Pickle Badges. I love to use them in my PL pages. I made week47 using some of them. I love especially the glitter one, with Happy Birthday words. I also used speach buble and others ( I’m listing them at the end of my post).
Here is my PL page. TFL!

Flairs I used:

– november

– speech bubble

Thanks so much for sharing today, Mona. I love your page and your little boy is just adorable!
