“Make It Merry” with Close to My Heart Stamp Set

Hi, Joann here today sharing two Christmas cards that I made using the Close to My Heart  “Make It Merry” stamp set.

Here is my first card…

I used CTMH Artbooking Cricut Cartridge to cut my tag, which coordinates with this stamp set. I took CTMH Pear and Topiary Inks to stamp my image onto my tag (I tried to create an ombre effect, it’s acutally a bit more noticeable in person). I cut a piece of vellum a bit smaller than my colored card stock and then tied some ribbon to my top panel before gluing it down to my card base.

I finished it off by adding a bell to a bow I tied, scattered a few TCP Relish Mix and popped my label on some foam adhesive to add a bit more dimension to my card. That is all for this card!

Now my next card is mimicking a card that I posted on my blog a few days ago. I loved how it turned out, I did make a few changes to make it a little different.

Here it is…

I took some stitched circle dies I have to cut my circles out of some pattern paper. I stamped my sentiment, also from “Make It Merry“, onto some vellum with VersaMark and heat embossed it with some black embossing powder.

I drew some white lines and then glued my circles down, adding some dimension to 2 of them.  I scattered some tone on tone TCP Relish Mix to match with the pattern paper. Super easy and simple!

Well that is all for today! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Mini Note Card Set

Hi friends, Joann here today sharing some mini note cards that I created for my son’s teacher using CTMH Treats of Friendship stamp set!

I stamped my images on some watercolor paper and colored them in using some Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I stamped my sentiment and layered my top panel to some fun foam for some dimension and stacked that onto some colored card stock.

I finished my cards by adding a bit of glossing accents to my sprinkles…really liked the way they turned out. Well that is all for today, thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Baby Shower Favor

Baby Shower Favor

Hi Joann here today, thanks for joining me!

Today I am sharing a cute little baby shower favor that I made using the CTMH Artiste Cartridge!

Isn’t this box adorable and wouldn’t it also be great as an Easter Box to fill with treats for kids?!?!  To decorate my box I cut a 1 3/4 circle stamped an image using the CTMH-Holiday Tags stamp set and customized it with the due date using YES Months set for my month and finished it off with some scattered sequins.

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for stopping by!

Using the CTMH Artiste cartridge

Hi, Joann here. Thanks for stopping by! Today I have a quick and easy thank you card using the CTMH Artiste Cartridge.

I cut several of the diamond image (pg. 49) out of some different colored card stock and clear embossed a few of them using the Honeycomb Flair to add some texture. I randomly placed them to create a fun background for my card. I then cut “Thanks” (pg. 65) for my sentiment, 4 times and stacked them on top of one another to add dimension and placed it on top of  the banner (pg. 35) in which was cut from vellum.

I finished off my card by adding a few adhesive pearls. That’s it, hope you liked it and as always, thanks for stopping by!

Worlds Greatest Brother

Hi Crafty Friends!

Today we have a card for you by our fabulous DT member, Joann! She has a great card using both CTMH product and TCP flair! Take a look.

Hi, thanks for stopping by today! I am sharing with you another masculine card. A quick tip that I found was, pick your color combo out first and you’ll find out that the card will come together quite quickly.

I started off with a dotted stencil and some CTMH Lagoon ink to created a faded corner background. I cut the label using the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge and stamped the image with a coordinating stamp set Perfect fit- Frames Flair with some CTMH Slate Ink,
I also used the stamp set Perfect fit- Dad Holiday to stamp the “World’s Greatest” on some vellum, finished the card off by cutting a few banner shape pieces, some yellow orange twine and of course some TCP Family Themed Flair!
Hope you enjoyed today’s card and as always thanks for stopping by!!

Handmade Valentine Treats with Joann.

Hi Crafty Friends!

Classroom moms, This one is totally for you!!! Our designer Joann has such a fantastic idea for some valentine’s she has created from some personalized flair. Completely adorable!!! Check it out!!

_____________________________________________________________________

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Today I am sharing some fun treats! These will be great for classmates, students, and even coworkers. I received some personalized flair with the names of my kids from TCP etsy shop and used them to personalized some treats for Valentines.

Create amazing Valentine's using custom flair from TheCraftyPickle.com
Here are the steps:
  • Start with a 3 1/2 x 4 piece of White Daisy cardstock
  • On the 3 1/2 inch side score at 1/2 and 3
  • Rotate clockwise and on the 4 inch side score at 7/8
  • After you have scored everything place your piece of cardstock where the 3 1/2 inch side is horizontal and the 4 inch side is vertical.
  • There will be two rectangles at the bottom left and right corner, take some scissors and remove those two sections.
  • I took my corner rounder and rounded the top corners and the bottom corner (the part that will fold up)

I took a background stamp and stamped the image to create my background and took the little heart from the CTMH Countdown stamp set to add in random places. I punched (2) 1 3/8 circles from someCranberry and Cotton Candy cardstock, (2) 1 1/4 circles from White Daisy cardstock and stamped an image using the CTMH Perfect Fit- Dad stamp set with some Cranberry and Cotton Candy Ink onto the White Daisy circles.

I layered them and added my beautiful personalized flair. Finishing them off by cutting some gold pieces of cardstock into banners and a cherry lollipop!
I hope you enjoyed today’s mini project. Thanks for stopping by!
