Hi and welcome to Honey Bee Stamps 1st birthday blog hop!!!

Today the designers are featuring the brand new stamp set “Happy Everything” with a sweet little kit put together by designer Lisa Cisneros. We have lots planned for you this week and of course lots of prizes! Just leave a comment on our designer’s blogs along your hop for your chance to win!
You should have arrived here from Holly’s Blog, but if not click HERE to start at the beginning!
For my project I wanted to do a little something different with the stamping. Did you know that if you own a foiling machine or laminator, you can actually foil your stamping work?
All you need to do is do your stamping with a very good black ink. Using a stamp positioner like the MISTI tool can really help. If you miss any spots in your stamping be sure to go over it with a marker or a fine tip pen.
Then take your stamped paper and photocopy onto cardstock using a toner based printer or photocopier. Your image is ready for foiling! Note: This should ONLY be for personal use due to copyright, do not share your photocopy images with others.
That is exactly what I did in my project below. You can see the aqua colored foil in the close up photo. I love how it shimmers right along with all the sequins in the shaker card.
I hope my little tip got your creative wheels-a-turnin’! I know that I want to foil ALL THE THINGS now! LOL.
I sure hope you had fun hopping along with us today for Honey Bee Stamps very first birthday blog hop. Make sure you have left a comment below as well as one on every designer’s page and of course the honey bee blog as well. Keep checking back on the Honey Bee Blog all week long for more inspiration and new products…. better yet join the Facebook party HERE for your chance to win lots of awesome prizes.
I am excited to announce our store is back open. Thank you all for being incredibly patient while we relocated to Washington state. We added a few new items to the store so make sure you check it out 🙂
We wish those of you in the states the happiest Thanksgiving holidays!
For the base I used white cardstock and some Queen & Co. patterned paper. I made some ink splats with my black india ink and scattered some Disney pickle relish from the shop around the layout. The stamp set I used is from Close to My Heart. I attached some washi tape and a Disney flair from the shop and used Thickers to create my title.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my layout share!
It’s Lisa here today to share this week’s planner layout. Planners are on trend in the Paper crafting community. The Crafty Pickle’s shop will be opening back up soon. Be sure to check out all of the planner goodies in The Crafty Pickle’s new inventory. It’s a planner’s dream!!
For this layout, I was inspired by the new goodies in The Craft Pickle Shop. I covered all of the lines on the page using The Crafty Pickle’s thin glitter Washi Tape. This defines the boxes and makes it fun!! The Crafty Pickle just introduced the Sticky Pickle Spot Stickers. These are so awesome to accent important appointments or to just decorate with. They come in asterisks, stars, hearts and circles.
Adding any of the Relish Mixes to your planner gives a fun, sparkly and thin embellishment. These come in all colors, I used the Rock Candy Mix and are super easy to attach. I used a dot of Glossy Accents to attach them. Who doesn’t love sequins???!!!
I used the Project Life Everyday Line paper pad & cardstock stickers to accent my layout. I cut triangles & rectangles to accent the planner boxes which adds some color and texture to the pages.
I also attached a “This Month” planner clip! The Crafty Pickle has come out with personalized clips that are adorable!! I used the planner clip to “bookmark” my week. That makes it super easy to grab my week!
It’s Paula here with a few pocket scrapbooking cards and some shaker pockets I made. For the cards I just cut some cardstock to 3×4 and decorated with patterned paper and stamps and then added some sequins from the relish mixes in the shop…so cute!
I also added some of the awesome Disney flair and washi tape in the shop!!
For the shaker pocket I used a Simple Stories Photo Flip and added relish mix, a Disney flair and a few Disney punch out shapes. Then I sealed it with double sided tape and put some glitter washi tape on top of that. Easy peasy!
For the planner shaker pocket I used a Heidi Swap 3×4 card pocket and added relish mix and some Halloween shapes and then sealed it the same way…works perfectly!
Happy Tuesday to everyone checking in on the blog today …
First there really are no rules to journal in your Bible but I got this cute little card in the mail the other day and thought I would share it ….I am no expert in this field just enjoy playing in my Bible …
I usually come home from church on Sunday and that evening try and make my little entry into my Bible ..sometimes I like to think about what I am going to do for a bit and sometimes I just want to do a little bit in my book..just depends on my mood … but all the products from the store work fabulous for my book and all the CTMH
stamps work wonderful in the side margins of your journaling bible also…
I want my planner to be functional first and foremost but I also want it to be pretty and fun! First off I am loving the large planner clip to mark my page. It is so cute and functional! For this week’s layout I used the gold glitter washi to add some glitz and glam. I used some of the Fruity Pebbles Relish Mix and Amy Tangerine vellum hearts which go perfect with the colors for September in the planner. I also used some of the Sticky Pickle Spots as bullet points for my posting reminders. And finally I used some Close To My Heart stamps to make the layout fun!
Kristin here with some of the stamps from the Close to my Heart catalog that you can still order from the store …you can look at all the wonderful products from CTMH and they wil come straight to your door …so awesome ..just love it!!!
I am trying to work on a few more pages in the Disneyland album that I and working on for my nieces and thought the Snapshot Memories Stamps with the Magic, Life Captured and the washi tape stamp would look so cool embossed with embossing powder and add a little gold to the page …here is a link to the Princess Gold embossing powder HEREAnd then this is the left side of the page with the kids hugging Anna and she is talking to them ..so sweet with my favorite flair pop of color, and then this stamp “The Stuff that Life is made of with some fun Relish also!!!
And then the other side I went gold crazy with this page with the kids getting the princesses autographs …such a special moment in time …love how the stamps worked for exactly what I needed for this page!!!
All of her washi tape is to die for when the store opens back up …you are going to want it all!!!!
Please check back to find out when the store is going to open back up after she moves!!!
I love to make a mini album especially if it is for my two nieces ….we had such a wonderful time at Disneyland and California Adventure in July that I just had to make an album!!!
I just love going there all the people ( cast members) just go out of their way to help you in any way that they can!!!
My method to making a mini album is I slide all the pictures in the protectors, then go back and add the paper, and next I decorate the cover because that sets the tone for the album for me …and last (my favorite) I add all the wonderful embellishments from The Crafty Pickle!!!
Here is my album cover:
Here are a few of my pages:
You have to have a page with all the wonderful Relish Mixes!!!
Please check back when the store opens back up for all these fun Disney embellishments!!!
TheCraftyPickle is taking a short break.
